Tim Skarda

Since founding Allied Business Group in 2002, Tim has helped his clients sell more than a hundred businesses in industries as diverse as manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, healthcare and business services. He has assisted in preparing hundreds of business valuation reports, ranging from small sole proprietorships to corporations in excess of $100 million in enterprise value.

Before he established Allied, Tim was a principal in Skarda Equipment Company, a wholesale distributor of industrial automation equipment. It was here that he gained firsthand knowledge of the opportunities that business owners encounter, as well as the challenges they confront, when planning exit strategies. Tim was also a business consultant, where he acquired extensive experience in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, and commercial banking. Throughout his career, Tim has built a network of relationships with business owners, executives, private equity investors and strategic buyers.

Tim graduated from the University of Kansas, earning a bachelor of science degree in business administration and an MBA in finance. Tim is a recognized expert in mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, and exit planning, and is a featured speaker at seminars and workshops for business owners, professional advisors, and trade groups. He holds the following FINRA securities licenses: Series 24, Series 63, Series 65, and Series 79.
