The Team

David Holzman

Since joining Allied in 2009, David has been instrumental in establishing the company's position as the premier investment banking services provider to lower middle-market companies in the Midwest. He built the company's infrastructure by developing more efficient processes, designing innovative tools, and making key hires. He also played a critical role in Allied's recent merger with Mariner Holdings, one of the nation's top wealth advisory and investment management firms. David manages Allied's daily operations, including all aspects of its M&A process, from buyer support through due diligence management. He also sets the company's strategic direction, staying abreast of current valuation and market trends to ensure that the company maintains both its commitment to excellence and its client focus as it grows.

David has overseen dozens of M&A engagements in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, health care, and information technology. He has conducted more than 200 business valuations for a wide range of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, gift and estate planning, charitable giving, strategic planning, shareholder disputes, financial and tax reporting, marital dissolution, fraud, and economic damages. In addition, he has provided litigation support services, including expert witness testimony, in numerous court cases. David is an expert on business valuation and increasing corporate value, and he speaks often on these topics.
