AICPA’s Standards for Valuation Services (SSVS) No. 1 applies to members of both the Kansas and Missouri Boards of Accountancy. Possible engagements that would require adherence to the standard include: purchase price allocations, charitable contribution deductions, corporate restructuring, S corporation conversions and miscellaneous tax planning matters.
